I definitely do not recommend: books on the anatomy of yoga based on muscle work in asanas.
First of all – Asanas do not work on isolated muscle structures. The work in yoga goes far beyond the subject of muscles – in yoga the work is based on anatomy trains, breath work and bandhas.
Second – for the most part, such literature assumes the wrong work in asana – very often completely opposite to how it should be.
Someone who practices correctly will immediately recognize this. But in most cases, this literature is misleading to those looking for hints to develop their practice.
