The student knows the sequence of asanas in the Series or practices an agreed-upon sequence tailored to their needs. They practice at their own pace.
The unique value of this type of class lies in the greater opportunity to support the student through a variety of adjustments. A greater focus on one’s individual practice fosters independence and a sense of observation, and deepens insight. It helps build a deeper understanding of the various aspects of the practice and places more responsibility in the student’s hands.
